Both check-in and check-out are handled at Hishiya, our main office. Let us know ASAP if your check-in time changes! Hishiya!

During check-in, you need the following:

When checking in, please park in the designated gravel area below. After check-in you will be guided to a different parking lot. *Please leave your luggage in your car*

[Insects]

Yes, there are bugs, especially stink bugs in Spring and Autumn. Don't worry! We thoroughly clean the rooms and double check them before your arrival.

[Pajamas]

We don't provide pajamas for children. Please prepare accordingly.

[Food]

Everything is closed after 5 p.m. in Kumagawa-juku.

If you ordered dinner, it will be delivered to your home between 6 and 7 p.m.

There are restaurants open for dinner and a Costco-like supermarket within a 10-minute drive from Kumagawa-juku. Busses do not run past 7 p.m.

[Snacks and drinks]

Drinks are sold at Hishiya. There are beverage vending machines throughout Kumagawa-juku.

If you'd like to give a special treat to a special someone, you can place an order at the website below. After placing your order, please email and inform us of your order at info@yao-kumagawa.com. Your order will be sent to Yao-Kumagawa and we will prepare it in your home before your arrival.
